A war in the 1900s rages on. Only it's not just any war. A war between mages and humans. Those with magic and those without. Who will end up the ruler of the kingdom, or worse... The world?

Darquesse had decided to take a walk by the sea, she was not a water elemental but still found the sound of lapping water to be relaxing. She smiled as she saw the seemingly empty land before her and she took off her shoes and walked barefoot, feeling the soft wet sand beneath her feet, taking another look out to sea she strains her eyes against the light and promptly moves into the shadows, feeling much more at home. She sat on the peice of wood she had kicked and inspected her foot, it was bruised. Great. She muttered 'Stupid me' quietly and got up to move on smiling at the man, sun obscuring his features a little.
