Power/Weaponry List Empty
PostSubject: Power/Weaponry List   Power/Weaponry List EmptyWed Dec 22, 2010 10:50 pm

Powers
You are only allowed up to two powers but be reasonable in the two that you have. If it's colored red, it's rare and you must have had it approved by an admin to use it.

Also to have fully mastered your powers, your skill in your profile must be at a minimum of 800. Otherwise you're still in training. Don't worry, it's easier than you think to get skill.

Rules to having powers (Being a Mage):

1. The more magic you use to perform something and the younger you are, the more exhausted you are left feeling. Too much and you could die or permanently injure yourself. You are not invincible.

2. You can still die. Just saying.

3. You CAN have only ONE power if you wish. Having more than one means you need a small power and a big power or two small powers.

Elementals: You can only have one type of element to control. This also does not mean you can suddenly kill a thousand people with one flick of your hand or something. You also have to have a lot of practice for your elemental power to work. Because of this, only four of each element can be taken though certain ones are rare still.

-Fire: You're able to control the heat and fire. Use it wisely. (4 available)
*weak against water.
-Water: You're able to control the cold and water. Ice is apart of you as well. Bewarned. (3 available)
*weak against fire.
-Wind: You're able to control the breeze and wind, but not flight. (3 available)
*weak against earth.
-Light: You're able to cast light out into a dark place. (4 available)
*weak against shadow.
-Spirit: You're able to see and talk to the dead but you can not bring them back/ (4 available)
*Isn't used for fighting
-Shadow: You are able to remove light from a lit place, covering you with night. (3 available)
*weak against light.
-Earth: You are able to control the forest and earth. The trees can talk with you, convey things. (4 available)
*weak against wind.

Mind Readers: There are restrictions to this as well otherwise there would be a lot of Mind Readers. Simply put, it takes a decade to fully master this skill and everytime you use this power to look into someone's mind and read what they're thinking. A fully mastered mage might be able to see someone's memories, but you can not control their mind.

Empaths: You can feel other's feelings and can only manipulate small feelings.

Seer: They can see into the future but this is a rare power. They can not control what things they see and they are not able to see the humans' moves as simple as that or all the time.

Levitation: Can levitate objects and people but not buildings or boats.

Invisibility: Can only hide themselves, not others and they can hide small objects no bigger than their head.

Time Warp: (two types) Can freeze an object in the space of time but only for the time limit of a few seconds. Possibly enough to escape a hurling object. It's extremely taxing on your body though. (second type) Can replay an event as if a motion picture, but can only replay about five minutes worth (can no do anything with this type. Mainly used to replay an event to see what happened.)

Transmutation: Can turn one object into another but the object transfigured can not be as large as a building. You can't transfigure things into food either.

Healer: Can only heal minor and nonpermanent injuries.

Shape Shifting: Can only take the form of two animals and their normal form.

Weapons

Rules of Weapons:
1. You can't be all mighty and chop things down on a whim.
2. You could very well mess up and stab yourself with this. Just saying.
3. To even out the playing field, these weapons are capable of hitting against the elementals. Meaning you CAN use it as a shield against them but not all the time.

Daggers & Knives
-Anelace: A longer dagger that can also be used as a short blade hidden by a girdle usually
-Stiletto: A short knife with a long thin blade used for a deeper wound
-Misericorde (Mercygiver): Mainly used for death blows only
-Katara: An H shaped dagger where the user has their hand around a bar using their fists to strike a blow (Usually used in ceremonies)
-Rondel: Most common dagger worn at the waist that can be used for utility purposes
-Machete: Called a cutlass when used for agricultural purposes it is a straight thick blade that has a knack for being used for rebellions

Swords
-Arming Sword: Typically a knight's sword used with a shield it is a heavier longer blade with a cross hilt
-Broadsword: A double edged straight sword used
for thrusting and cutting
-Claymore: A Knights blade (can only be used for those who are knights)
-Scimitar: A curved blade
-Rapier: Small long thin flexible blades that are lightweight and allows for fancier footwork

Others
-Flail: Ball-on-a-chain weapon where the end has spikes attached to cause more damage
-Battleaxe: Self-explanatory
-War Hammer: Self-explanatory
-Bow & Arrows: Just say what kind like a willow bow with hawthorne arrows

You CAN choose NOT to have a weapon.
